Cozy Newborn Photo Session At Home in North Raleigh

I first met Megha and her husband Luke at a mini session event coordinated by local realtor, Kendall Harris. I was hired by Kendall to shoot 10-minute mini sessions of her clients as a thank you for supporting her business. Megha, Luke, and their pup were one of them.

I loved how fun they seemed and kept up with their world travels over the next year. I barely knew them but was thrilled for them when they announced their pregnancy this year — even more thrilled when they reached out for newborn photos!

We shot these photos in their home, just six week after they brought baby Niam home. In-home photo shoots are my favorite. Your home is your comfort zone. It’s your safe space. And it’s the place that best tells your family’s story. I think you can feel all of that in the gallery below.
