As a Raleigh family photographer and mom to 3 kids under 8-years-old, I fully expect kids to be kids. And honestly, that’s what I prefer. You do not need perfectly behaved children for beautiful family photos. I want the kids that literally can’t sit still because their movement and personality will only add to the beauty of the images we capture for you. I pride myself on being a photographer that’s great with kids. That’s why my sessions are child-led, flexible, and designed to reduce pressure so your family photography experience feels joyful instead of stressful. Whether your little one needs breaks, movement, snacks, or extra patience, we work with their needs rather than against them. Some of the most meaningful images come from real connection, playful energy, and authentic moments (not forced smiles). This approach is especially valuable for neurodivergent families or children with sensory sensitivities, ADHD, or autism. My signature family photography sessions typically last about one hour, giving us plenty of time to create relaxed, connection-focused images without rushing. This allows space for kids to warm up, explore, and simply be themselves. That being said, I don’t set your session by the clock. I intentionally keep sessions flexible because the best family photos are often captured when families feel unhurried.

As an extended family photographer in Raleigh, I guide these sessions efficiently while still prioritizing authentic connection.

Yes! I offer limited seasonal mini sessions throughout the year, including highly sought-after Raleigh spring minis, Dix Park sunflower mini sessions, and fall family mini sessions. Mini sessions are perfect for families wanting updated photos in a shorter timeframe, while full sessions provide a more customized, storytelling-driven experience with more flexibility, location options, and gallery variety. Because mini sessions are offered on select dates only, I always recommend joining my email list for early access.

My full family photography sessions include a comprehensive gallery of 75+ professionally edited high-resolution images. I will never upsell you on additional images because I strongly believe you shouldn’t have to choose between your own memories. Your family deserves a complete story, not an overly limited gallery. Every signature family photo session is designed to deliver meaningful variety, including candid moments, connection-focused portraits, and storytelling details.

Note: Seasonal mini sessions include a smaller set number of edited images, with options to purchase more.

You will receive your final gallery within 3 weeks of your signature family photo session. My priority is delivering polished, vibrant, emotive family photos you’ll treasure for years.

Yes. A signed contract and 25% retainer are required to officially reserve your family photography session date. This ensures your session is secured on my calendar and allows me to begin providing personalized planning support, including styling assistance and location guidance. Your retainer is due upon signing your contract and the remaining balance is due the day of your family photo session.

Your high-resolution digital images come with personal printing rights, allowing you to print your photos wherever you’d like for personal use. You’ll also have access to professional print products and heirloom-quality artwork through my gallery store to ensure your family photos look their absolute best for generations to come.
