Devin Desjarlais Photography Is Coming To Your School!

Dates: September 17 & 18, 2026

Hello Learning Together families,

Fall photo day is coming up soon, and I’m excited to be back photographing your kids again this season!

I’m Devin, and my approach to school photos is pretty simple: I want you to look at your child’s pictures and immediately recognize them.

That means I won't be asking your child to sit still and give me their best “picture day smile.” I’ll get to know them, be silly when they need it, give them time to warm up, and ultimately follow their lead.

My goal is to give you school photos that feel less like a record of what your child looked like this year and more like a little snapshot of who they are at this moment in time.

I can’t wait to see them!

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Hi, I’m Devin! I’m a Raleigh-based family and school photographer, and a mom to three young kids. My beautiful first-born was diagnosed with ADHD and childhood apraxia of speech at a young age and that experience has shaped so much of how I see and approach capturing kids through my work.

My approach is simple. I don’t expect kids to sit still or perform. I meet them where they are, follow their lead, and create space for them to be fully themselves however that looks that day.

I’ve worked with many families with children in the Triangle, including neurodivergent and medically complex children, and capturing authentic joy, love, and personality is something that matters deeply to me. Every child deserves to be seen and reflected back to their family in a way that feels honest and familiar. My goal is to give you photos that feel like your kid. The real them.
